Saint Expedite Baptized HODIE Fixed Talisman

So, these are special. It's no surprise if you've even slightly browsed our other listings here at Mountain Conjure that we are devotees of the Holy Martyr. Always wanting to do something else with that super special energy he exudes, I decided to chase down an old ritual I had read years ago on how to make one. I found it, reworked it to better fit with the energy exchange I currently share with the Saint, and spent quite a bit of time flowing energy, blessings, and specific intentions into these things... and if you've worked with Saint Expedite at all in the past, you're going to love them. If you haven't, well, welcome in, this is a perfect tool to get you started!

Let me tell you a little bit about what went into making them and what they can offer you as a talisman alone or in conjunction with regular devotion to Saint Expedite...

I started work on a Wednesday, introducing the wooden crosses to Expedite’s altar with an offering of pound cake and coins. I lit a single red candle over them, fixed with Expedite oil and powder, and kept this candle burning for the entire 7 day ritual. Each day I also burned an incense blend favorable to Expedite while reciting a prayer calling in a specific ability I wished the talisman to have, I.e., luck, protection, or road opening. I made sure the crosses absorbed my words, the light of the candle, and the smoke of the incense as much as possible. Further, I applied a variety of spiritual waters and oils associated with the attributes I wished the crosses to carry once a day. 

After 7 days, I snuffed the red candle and allowed the crosses to rest for a period of 24 hours. After the rest I used a red hot needle to burn the word HODIE (today) on the front of the cross and then baptized each one in the name of Saint Expedite, linking his incredible energy indelibly to each individual item. I gave them all one last prayer, incense bath, and spiritual water/oil soak before I made them available to you!
